One or more of our Providers will gladly see patients that are enrolled in Medicare, subject to certain conditions to comply with rules surrounding Medicare:
- We can always provide non-Medicare covered services (if Medicare does not cover it, we can provide it).
Subject to signing our Private-Pay (Opt-Out) Medical Services Contract we can provide these types of services to Medicare patients on a cash/card basis:
- Stable urinary symptoms (mild urinary frequency or burning, no fever, flank pain, vomiting, or systemic signs, clinically judged not likely to deteriorate within 12–24 hours)
- Non‑urgent skin issues (chronic eczema, stable psoriasis, mild acne, non‑infected rash present for weeks
- Non‑urgent musculoskeletal complaints (chronic knee pain, shoulder strain from weeks ago, mild back pain without red flags)
- Stable medication refill visit (patient needs a refill for hypertension, thyroid, cholesterol, etc., no acute symptoms, vitals stable)
- Chronic condition follow-up (Diabetes check-in, hypertension follow-up, COPD/asthma follow-up [no flare], depression/anxiety follow-up [stable].
- Non‑urgent lab review (reviewing labs drawn elsewhere, adjusting medications based on stable results)
- Preventive counseling (diet counseling, smoking cessation counseling, exercise counseling [these are covered services, but still non‑urgent]
If you sign the Medical Services Contract in advance, we can always see you for any services we provide, even if it is an emergency. Explanation: we can provide non-emergency services to Medicare patients at any time, as long as the patient agrees to not seek reimbursement from Medicare for our fees. However, the Medical Services Contract cannot be entered into during an emergency.
We can always provide these services to Medicare patients, no contract required:
- Work/school notes
- Sports physicals
- Cosmetic procedures
- Screening tests for convenience (travel COVID test, employment drug test, etc.)
- Hormone replacement therapy
- Testerone replacement therapy
- IV therapy
